mother's day is long gone, but i must still say I admire my mum, beyond the typical motherly duties she does, beyond the sacrifices, i am amazed just by hearing stories about her guts, boldness, firmness (fierceness if you like) her being so garang & ready to stand up for what's right, even if it perpetuates discomfort, or displeases people-in-power. sounds like an advocate, or simply just a woman of courage i hope to emulate..
